:screwy: When I was young lad I enjoy Christmas lots, but now it as got mad! With people spending to much on food and getting the most have T.V.,videos etc. I like when snow in Christmas, but it does not now. People also get into debt this time of year as well. Christmas is for the kids who love get everything their what.

We should remember the people who do not have anyone at Christmas and that the true meaning of Christmas.

I agree with most of your views Jayjaya! I just think even if your not a Christian it's a time to think about others,I feel some people spend too much,it's the thought what counts!! I laugh at the people who go mad on decs around here!, as Cleveleys town centre certanly don't!! If Cleveleys does'nt win the Scrooge award again for the "lets not try to trim up for more than a tenner award" no place will! I would'nt like to be in the place that beats Cleveleys!!

I love the holiday season.

But both my husband and I have no living relatives. There is just the two of us.

And it gets kind of dull lighting the candles and spining the top each night. What we normally do is have a "drop in" situation for anyone that has no place to go and doesn't mind kosher food.

Most of our prezzies are bought and wrapped by me and Becky this year which makes a change as i am a last minute xmas eve shopper.
My tree went up a few days ago and the kids love it.........i only have to replace the chocolates every 2 days......lol.

Xmas is for the kids (and yes i do think about those alone at xmas time) but lets not get all broody and scrooge like about it.
We have just had Children in need if people are that bothered about homelessness and loneliness then i imagine you gave C.I.N a tenner!!!

Radio Wave are doing a give a child a present raiser,I am buying this present this week so i know at least i have done my bit.........as my children will be getting enough this year....... I know as my bank balance shows.
:naughty:
