Who's the best sidekick???

I watched an item on the news about who is the country's best loved sidekick.
the winner was Robin!! Batmans other half!,now I don't agree!! I like Stan Laurel the other half to Oliver Hardy!! Do you agree with Robin as the number one all time sidekick? Rodney Trotter was number two by the way!
If you had your choice who would it be?
