It's the fashion to give kids trendy names!! but is it? would you like a name like Ikea,Paprica,Caramel or Tame??
Is it fair on the kid? What do you think?
I think it's cruel giving a kid a silly name! Bob Geldorf's kids are called Pixy, Peaches etc etc and I think it's not smart and I bet he's glad he's called Bob rather than Zanzibar or Flibilflobilbobil!!!
Or would you fancy naming the kid from where it was concieved eg like Brooklyn Beckham? am I wrong in thinking it's stupid??? Is it cute and clever?? What do you think??

Default Re: Named after funiture!!!

I'm all for choosing a name that's a bit different, but I'd look on people with a naff name like 'Timberland' with a mixture of disdain and pity.
The ones that get me are the usual names spelt differently...probably 'cos the parents can't spell.
Equally silly are middle class parents calling their kids 'Fred' or 'Harold', unless they want him to frequent bookies with a roll-up hanging out of the side of his mouth waiting for them to weigh in at Newton Abbott.
