Question Electric guitars?

Hello,
My eldest lad is after a new guitar for Xmas, his Vintage is a bit top heavy for him yet so he wants a lighter one, preferably in the Les paul style.

Apart from Standish St & Parliament st, can anyone reccomend any good places within 50 miles of Burnley to go try & find one?

When we were in Liverpool t'other month there was a nice Dawsons shop that had loads in, would be nice to find something more local.

(Even Manchester would do
Cheers,
Mattylad.

Mattylad,

There's a place in Albert Rd, Colne, Uncle Neil's (I think it's called).
No recommendations as I've never been in but as it's local I thought it might be worth you calling in.

That the one on the main road as you go in, just past the traffic lights & on the right? if so I know that one, will look there too.

Looking for a Les Paul style seems to be quite expensive, they do not appear to do cheap ones in this style.

Thanks for the info, we got one. (well 2 actually)

It's a KC Rich signature guitar with a V shaped base, poke your eye out tackle :-) it's the one he wanted originaly, but he told me it was at Cash Generators (opposite M&S ish) and when I looked all they had was naff, turns out it was actually cash Converter (opp mcdonalds) who actually have loads in & they are not oo badly priced.

So we got the one he had fell in love with lol

Even better, we bought another real cheap starter kit so that "I" can recoup something from all those lessons I have been paying for over the past year 7 my lad can now teach me... :-)

But I still prefer Marmite to Jam...
