I think if people want to smoke - let them smoke! We'll only end up paying loads more tax on everything else when lots of people give up! Fair enough no smoking in places where you can eat or offices or whatever but I do think there should be designated smoking areas in pubs and bars etc.

I want everywhere to be no smoking!!!!!! Ban it everywhere! OK, bit harsh, but I have decided to give up the evil weed, personal choice, and I think it is going to be tough going catching a whiff of a cig.
Having a smoking room in pubs and clubs, well, that would still constitute to smoking in a public, enclosed space, wouldn't it?
I know it is a bit of a grey area, my other half said that there was an article on the bbc website about the ban, and it's not as clear cut as I thought.
I'll have to find the link when i have a bit more time and not craving a cig!

I'm planning on giving up when the ban comes into effect, I've been considering it for a while and it seems like a good time to quit.

However:

I dont think that just because I choose to quit that other peoples choices should be taken away from them. If I'm going to quit I'll do it weather or not my work have a smoking shelter or my local has a smoking room!

People should be given the choice IMO!
