Are Fat people lazy workers? Would you employ a Fat person?
Is it fair to judge someone just because they are the wrong weight?
you can't do that about Sex, race or colour

If they could do the job asked of them then I wouldn't give a damn about their colour, sex, size etc.,

(on the other hand, I might favour attractive young ladies with large bits and short skirts)

As for me,I'm fat and I know alot of lazy thin people!!!
To judge people on looks alone is in my view daft! People come in all shapes and size's and I think someone's job perfomance should be based on ability!

Thing is, the survey stated that given two candidates with the same qualifications and experience which one would you choose? Now I think it's human nature to judge by appearances, part of our make-up, we associate fatness with slovenliness.
So I don't think that the wording of the question could give any other outcome. Why would you employ the fat person over the 'normal' size person given the criteria? (Unless it was a pie tasting job).

Maybe Grannyclaret doesnt like 'coke' (No....not coca cola) or she does and wants to throw everybody off track, mmmm! (lol).

I dont care what the person is as long as they are reliable, trustworthy, honest and hard working, if so they can have a job but the col is right and appearances do get taken onboard by the interviewer as he/she may well have to decide within a time limit on who would be more worthy, I know this sounds poor but thats life. As long as individuals are happy with themselves within then thats all that counts I suppose.

My husband and I are both overweight. We both have, he more than me, good jobs. We are also, both over 50.

I think that it is bad that just because you are over weight that you might loose out on a job but it the way the world works veryone is so materalistic. some people need to just chill out and realise that there is more to people than their apperance

Who cares if someone is fat, if that person can do the job I think good for them. We live in a crazy world were no one fits in.

I dont care about the rights and wrongs of such opinions, what i think is more important is that is its a mistake to underestimate somebody based on his or her apperance. The not so pretty, the not so thin, they have to work harder to get by, but that makes for a smarter, harder worker.
