When will it end?

Don't know about your area, but last night the fireworks were still going off all evening and those bangers that sound like explosions were at the forefront of all the noise. I thought they were stopping them being sold in the shops, if so they haven't made a very good job of confiscating them. my animals have been going frantic and I dare not go out after it is dark in case one of the fireworks landed near the dog and sent it completely bonkers.
A young man in Rochdale has had to have his hand and part of his forearm amputated when a firework exploded while he was holding it in his hand. Some of these fireworks are a danger to life and limb and should be banned as from now.

we had fun and games here on friday night someone decided to set fire to the house next door we didnt find out til the police came on sat aft to tell us. not impressed my house could of gone up to.cant believe i never smelt or noticed anything it hasnt come through at all. even though the upstairs of next door was black and the room set on fire was front bedroom same as mine it really scared me now.

Shouldn't be much longer, the shops are clearings them out now (or Asda were when I was in on Sunday).

The fireworks are still going strong round here. Even in the crap weather the firework diehard was still at it. These shops that spring up to sell them get me, there is one just open round the corner,it must have been open only about a week ago,it's a good trade to be in,cos it will be shutting down now. A phantom shop! Now you got to ask "why?" bet cos they made loads of cash,no questions asked.

Bet they don't even have to obtain a licence either to sell the things.
