Re: What is your favorite thing in life? Hi there everyone. I've not been around for a week or two - away trying to sort out things in my mind. The most important thing in my life was always my family. We had, what one would call "the perfect family". None of the children ever argued, always said "please" and "thank you" to each other and I was, oh so proud of them all. They were good living people, caring people - four of them.
The last four years everything has changed. One daughter started drinking alone at night which resulted in her sending vicious emails to me, my youngest son, after much medical testing was diagnosed as mild paranoid schizophrenic, and he is such a lovely person and so intelligent. This backbiting has divided the family and changed the dynamics completely, and it will never be the same. That's one reason I want to come back to Burnley and start again. Any mother would understand if she has tried her best to bring her children up to be decent citizens, and then started receiving the most vicious and evil emails, what it can do to your spirit. Don't want to bring people down. This is a happy site. In spite of all this I still think family is the most important thing in life. It's the foundation that community builds on.
