Pendle witch county!!!! Where should I go??

To my shame I've never visited the places of Pendle that are the site's of the Pendle Witches! Such as Newchurch
So if any of you have been around the sites where should I go to visit??
I'm going over to Burnley this weekend and would like to put that right!!!
I've been told about a visitors centre somewhere that's opened about them but I don't know where it is!!! Also there's a shop in Newchurch that sells a sorts of Witchy stuff, is it easy to find???
I hope you can help!!!!
I'm also going to have a look around Towneley Hall which was last visited by me at least twenty years ago!!!!!
I'll take my camera and plonk some pics on here when I get back!!

the shop is easy to find wayney hun.:)
they have pendle with tours hun that take you round and about if youve never been before.

townley is damned spooky aswel lol

you have to climb pendle hill aswel :D

Further up the road from the shop there is a graveyard on the right hand side,that we went into one night,trying to find Alice Nutters grave......a very eerie place and you felt like you were being watched!!!

ive been to that grave its eerie have you seen the eye thing on the gate of the graveyard? we used to go there at halloween

be carefull inside townley hall they do not allow you to take photos. try a trip to downham thats where they film born and bred a very nice village

One creepy place at night.... .......i suggest you go late wayney then you get a real feel for the place..........lol

If you are looking for Alice Nutters grave at Newchurch you will be disappointed, reason being, she was hanged as a witch and therefore cannot be buried in consecrated ground. The witches were buried in the grounds of Lancaster Castle.
There is an interesting gravestone in Newchurch though, it has a warning on it against body snatchers, see if you can find it.
