believe it or not while i was reading the last remarks a firework went off .it was so loud i think it could have been a flare from the coastguards .if it wasaflare i hope no boddy is in danger, if its kids where did they get it ?its scarey.

probably a proton bomb. for those of you in burnley, the cadbury shop on lynhurst road sell those, and they are the loudest foreworks going, and my mate (who is 15) bought some the other day. i dunno if he got sum 1 to go in for him tho. there is a problem of underagers buying them, after hoodwinking the shopkeeper that they are of age.

it must have been a firework last night ,nothing in the gazette to say otherwise .it is a wonder they allow fireworks of that calibre to be sold to adults let alone children .G.C.

I used to buy a few bangers and mini rockets when I was under age, they were nothing like what is available today though - more like mortar rounds now! I had to be home by 9.00pm as well, I see loads of little kids out after 11.00pm during school holidays.

I hate fire works.
They should be banned.
Even a public display has it's casualties.
