Accepting that companies can always use more money for expansion. How do you feel about Royal Doultons proposal to sell off their centuries old collection of china pieces that are in their museum?.
They have bought out so many other companies over the years and the museum traces the history of the potteries. Should this end up in a private collection and deprive the public of the opportunity to see what is part of our heritage?

The lottery may step in and give em a bit of cash may be?. If it's a private collection it's up to the owners what they do with it at the end of the day. Do they need the money badly? or are they just after flogin the stuff off to make a shed load of dosh?

Don't think it will affect the price of ones people own. What it will mean is that the old and rare ones will be only available on photos for the plebs with no more chance to see them.
Bet the Lottery wouldn't buy them for the nation.
