Nightclubs - Love or Hate?

Never really been that fond of clubs - the drinks are always more expensive; you have to PAY to get in; you have to pass a bleedin dress code (can't come in with yer £60 trainers and £40 jeans - but you can come in with yer £5 shoes and manky £2.99 slacks!!!!!); and you have surly, arrogant bouncers.
I prefer pubs - espescially since most pubs stay open til one or two in the morning anyway - if you aint had enough by that time then you never will!!!!
Shame you guys don't feel safe in Burnley at night, but Blackpool is a shithole too Jason. It's usually full of ****ed up planks running around on a Saturday afternoon, peeing against doors and walls, whilst people are trying to do their shopping.

lol where i go there no dress code the beer is £1 a bottle and on a friday its open allllllllllllllllllllll night from 9pm to 7 am lol

I agree with Digsy about fascist bouncers and unreasonable dress codes, it's funny how it's always the lousy clubs that insist on trousers and shoes, and the places where it usually kicks off. I've come to the conclusion that I have to get legless to enjoy nightclubs and that's quite an investment on nightclub prices. Singapore slings with Mescal on the side anyone? lol

I'm not over fond of clubs! I must be getting old! I've gone in nightclubs dresed like a scarecrow with carrier bags of shopping and got in!!!! Just ask Digsy!!!!!! I just tend to go to the pubs these days! But you got fights in clubs years ago! Just be careful!!!!!
