Angry Lazy Bankers!

Why are some people so lazy that they find the need to park their car dangerously in order to get as physicaly close to where they need to go?
As an example I regularly drive through Rishton and often see cars parked in front of the HSBC cash machine very close to a zebra crossing and blocking the view of this to traffic coming out of a narrow side street. I swear these people would park on the pavement and lean out of the car if they thought they could get away with it! Even if they were disabled there is a free car park not 20 yards away. Even that is no excuse in my book to endanger both road users and pedestrians.

Don't get me going on bone idle car drivers!!!!!

For a sin, I am a pedestrian, and it does my bonce in when cars park on the pavemant. If I started walking down the middle of the road I am sure thay would have something to say about it. AND I don't want to hear that they are making more room on the roads for other cars to pass WRONG That simply means you are parked in a bad place and probably shouldn't be parked there in the first place. I the idle gits went and parked where they should do, they might have a one minute walk back, which takes me back to your initial point Colonel
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I feel better now

what makes me laugh is before some drivers will pay 50p or whatever it costs on the car park in cleveleys , theyall go in a convoy round and round the one way streets, to park free ,it must cost them more in petrol in the long run G.C. :stop:

What I want to know is where are the traffic wardens as it is illegal to bump cars up on pavements. Maybe they haven't been told or are too busy seeing if a car has half a wheel over a yellow line.
To be honest I find it is usually young drivers who are the worst offenders and the lazy ones.

Once saw a bloke nearly fall out of the car window trying to post a letter in a postbox. Used to have a bloke next door who would drive to the paper shop that is 100 yards up the road, Next thing you will want em walkin!

Don't get me started on people not indicating (for road users AND pedestrians). Would cut down on confusion at roundabouts for a start.

Don't forget about the muppets that saunter across roads not even looking...cyclists without lights at night...middle-lane hoggers on motorways...drivers that don't stop at zebra crossings unless you take your life in your hands and stride out in front of them...tailgaters...4wd's...come to think of it 4wd's are the worst for tailgating...and straight in at number 1...parents dropping off their little darlings as close as physically possible to their school desk!...in their 4wd's!...that they can't park!!! GRRRRRR!!

Stealth-riders I call them, virtually invisible - only have sympathy for the person who gets their car damaged when the inevitable happens.BTW I ride a push bike as well, so I know how dozy other road users can be.
