I couldn't agree more, as a father of 6 kids i was disgusted that even somebody with a mental health disorder could do that. What are things coming to?, where was her outreach support?.

poor little mite...it is so sad ,,the woman realy must be sick to do something like that...she probaly did nead treatment ...i would not have liked to make a disission on something like that ....................

your joking arent you the health service left my mum to drink herself yo death hell they even bought her the beer instead of getting her out the house and helping her.

OMG that's awful, she really needs treatment does that woman.

NO support agencies would have been able to prevent that, especially as they are all understaffed, underfunded & overworked.

Ill or not i know what i would like to do to her.It made me feel like throwing up reading that.If and i quote -" Green had suffered from a schizo-affective disorder which caused her to hear voices and become depressed since 1985, the court heard "-Then what the hell was she doing having the baby in her care.The social services should also be strung up along with her.

I fully undrstand what you are saying, but as it is a statement about the world we live in, i think these matters need discussing something must be done.

Takersbabe, i agree with you about the social services, 5 of my kids have S.P.L.D's, including autism, adhd, add and such like. We recieve very little help (if any).

I've got to say this is an extreme case, and in this case it looks like no one is the winner! :( We tend to treat mental illness as something that we should'nt talk about,and keep it a secret,most people know someone that is struk down with depression etc but we won't talk about it
