this summers test cricket

Can anyone tell me why the England test side are playing a warm up series against bangladesh - by far the weakest test side in the world before going on to play Australia - by far the best test side in the world???

We won todays test on the third day by an innings and 200 and odd runs - all the spectators that bought tickets for to,morrow and monday are going to have to be refunded costing the ECB a fortune.

More to the point though, all this series will do is fill the English side with false confidence. this will last until Shane Warnes first over in the First Test and then the world will come crashing down around their ears.

haven't seen any cricket related posts on here before so i'm not expecting many replies - just wanted a chance to vent my spleen as they say!! lol

owing to the fact that our top batsmen are all playing badly in the county chapionships, we need this glorified net session. id like to see pietersen in in the next test. the aussies are goin to slaughter us, as usual, and warne will get 5 at old trafford, but i hope we will have some confidence goin in, but not overconfident as we have just battered the poorest side in the icc

pietersen has been deliberately left out cos he and warne both play for the same county side so for the last six months shane has been working him out - i just bet he has got a new delivery that no one has seen before - bit like muralitharans doosra

Maybe they are playing Bangladesh because they are the only opponents available at present. I suppose you could say the same thing about Englands football team playing useless games in America this week, as really,those players need a rest after a long season. It could be that the managers just want to get the national sides together for a glorified practice session.

good old flintoff will keep them on their toes ...bangladesh were absolute rubbish...they will have a different kettle of fish with the ausies
