PS2 Bundle Rip Off - Game in Burnley

Fiona went down and came back with just the PS2 stating that they guy in the shop said the deal was no longer active. She paid £104.99 for the PS2 only.

I rang the shop and spoke to Steve, who told me that it's part of a seperate group apparently and the stores can't offer the same deals. I replied even though it's part of the same company and the website address is advertised on their carrier bags and receipts? He said yes and it's only a web offer. So now it's a web offer? I stated that if it was a web offer or a different "Group", it would state on the website. I also explaind that to me it's misleading and false advertising and if you visit pcworld.co.uk for example, it states "Web Offer" on any Web Offers. Steve then turned round and said, "Well you can return the console if it's in it's packaging".

I've sent a complaint through their website, saved screenshots of their website, saved the website source and printed it all off. If I don't get what's advertised I will be taking the next step and going for false advertising.

take it all the way neal they prob think your bluffing anyway, just think how many others have been ripped of as well

You haven't got a leg to stand on unless it's actually advertised in the shop.
Even though the web address is on the reciept, you have to log on to that address to see the offer, and the offer is available on the address.
Offers only have to be available where you see it.supermarkets advertise things in one store that are more expensive in another all the time.
Take the offer of your money back and buy it online, its free postage.

Not had a reply as yet to my e-mail, they have received it though as I got the confirmation back.

As far as i'm concerned, it's still false advertising as it should state it's:

A. A web offer
B. It's not available in the shops
