Songs in TV Ads

Thinking Of TV adverts, over the years numerous songs have been used in ads, in some cases songs have even made it back into the charts because of this type of exposure. which ones can you remember and what product were they advertising. I'll start with All Right now Free Wrigleys Spearmint

The problem I have with TV ads is that I remember the songs but I can never remember what they were advertising, which defeats the object doesn't it?

I used to curse the ad company's for "stealing" classic tracks to flog their products, but I've come to terms with it now. it can bring a new audience to the music as well so that's a good thing...I keep telling myself.

The Wrigley's ad was a good 'un, nearly all the Levis' ads were great too, I especially liked this one:

Another favourite is the Dunlop tyres ad that uses The Velvet Underground's "Venus in Furs". Totally over the top cod-surreal imagery, but so different to anything else that was around at the time:

Can't remember what was being advertised but a couple of ads introduced my kids to Bob Marley and T-Rex so can't be bad.
