Thumbs up Burnley v Arsenal

Anyone watching the match? Either on telly or at Turf Moor.

I'm not as into football as I used to be but I thought someone should start a thread on Burnley's biggest match for a while!

I'll probably end up listening to it on the radio while I potter about in the garage.

Hope the Clarets do themselves proud whatever the score.

Good luck to................. It would be nice for a Lancashire team to beat the Londoners, especially after yesterday's miserable defeat for Blackburn against Coventry.

The match was on the Telly here at 7am (Arizona time) so I got to watch it while eating breakfast. It was great to see Turf Moor on TV -- the weather looked fine -- Burnley looked intimidated and nervous at first to me -- the attack didn't look at all bad but the defense looked shaky. I thought the red card was too harsh -- Burnley's ten man team acquitted itself very well against the Premier League leader in my opinion -- Burnley should be proud of the boys in claret and Blue!

Yeah I'd agree with that, shame they didn't convert there early change that hit the crossbar, that probably give the Gunners a fright.

Burnley 0-2 Arsenal.

Just hear Owen Coyle on radio he said also said if they showed more comporsure on they might have scored some goals or to, that effect but he was proud as you can imagine. it might inspire then to revive their league form once again.

I went with my realistic head on, knowing Arsenal were likely to win, hoping we didn't get humiliated and it was a good game. It passed all those with flying colours. Shame the ref wanted to be on telly though, scandalous decision which ended it as a game from that point onwards.
