I make that 8 whole players who are ok, a couple of youth players, a loanee and an old coach - is that the best burnley fans can expect for their £20 a throw ticket (add £3 extra if you buy your ticket on the day)
we are supposed to be a CHAMPIONSHIP team, with expectations of the PREMIERSHIP - we have sold the ground and training ground and look what we have!? exactly
It's a joke and I for one have no intention of going this year to see the above half-hearted attempt at running a football club - it's pathetic
I would rather invest my money in FLEETWOOD Town footy club - and they have more players than us!!!
I am not turning my back on the Clarets, i just think it is time that people stop taking the fans as mugs! Don't tell me that they need my money more than ever at the moment either - where is all the money going? Certainly not on players or subsidising tickets for fans - Kilby can't even blame ITV Digital now SURELY - no big wage earners - so you tell me!?

I think there are better things to do with 20 quid such as donations to charities. It's beyond belief that people pay so much money, even though they feel patriotic to a team.

it does look like a sod squad. I didn't know Burnley FC had sold gawthorpe training ground? desperation?

If the fans simply said NO and boycotted a SINGLE home match then there'd be no option for the management but to reduce entrance fees.

That's all it takes, a single NO. Yes you're being RIPPED OFF and a small sacrifice would be to boycott a game and instead donate some money to Cancer research or other charity, think about it, you'll feel better in the long term and at the same time maybe help a sickly child feel better.

I'm not turning against the team but I've got to say it's strange how a club can have so few players and expect anything other than a struggle!
As for paying £20 a ticket I'm afraid I can only go on when I can afford it and the days of not missing a home match in my case are long gone! I know moneys short at the club but you need a bottom line team!!!!

i've been a claret and blue for many years and i'm pretty p***ed with the situation at the minute to say the least! When i read in a national newspaper that Cottrill is asking if anyone one knows any good players available to send him an e-mail COME ON!!

dont get on much myself now due to work, but will be on tomorrow, the worst thing you can do is stop going, that wont help the club or players (if there are any left) morale Up the Clarets!!!!

i CAN ONLY AGREE WITH THAT UPTO A POINT HUN.
WE HAVE BEEN FED THE SAME LINE NOW EVER SINCE ITV DIGITAL (5,6,7 YEARS AGO???)
AT WHAT STAGE DO YOU SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH?
I HAVE DONE MY QUOTA OF SUPPORTING THE CLUB THROUGH THICK AND THIN - WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME THEY EVER DID ANYTHING FOR THE FANS - THEY NEVER PUT PRICES DOWN (EXCEPT VERY OCCASIONALLY WHEN THEY THGINK THE CROWD WILL BE POOR ANYWAY) AND WE HAVE A SQUAD SIZE THAT ONE AND HALF PEOPLE CAN COUNT ON THEIR HANDS!
NO - WE ARE DOING NOBODY A FAVOUR BY MEEKLY GOING IN WEEK IN AND WEEK OUT LIKE GOOD LITTLE SHEEP.
BEING A PROPPER FAN ALSO MEANS MAKING A STAND AND LETTING THE BOARD KNOW WHEN THEY ARE NOT PULLING THEIR WEIGHT
I WANT A CHANGE OF THEIR ATTITUDE FIRST!!! I HAVE DONE MY TIME OF BLINDLY BUYING SHIRTS, GOING TO THE GAMES, BUYING PROGRAMMES, HALF TIME DRAWS AND BEING IN CLARETS FOUNDATION etc.
I FINALLY WANT SOMETHING BACK - AND A DECENT SQUAD WOULD BE A START!
