Burnley Vs Blackburn Rovers

Just thought I would let everybody know that we (burnley town team yr 9/ u14's) beat blackpool FC in the semi final and will be playing the Blackburn rovers youth side on the anchor (darwens ground) this thursday, kick of 6.00 PM.

The last time we played blackburn we lost 3-1 however had 4 of our main players out (it was during a school holiday) but blackburn had a full squad (they wernt on holiday lol) so we stand a good chance of beating them!!

Ill let you know how we get on!! Wish us look !!:D :D :D

Superb game with burnley clinching the game in the last 5 mins with a header at the back post!

If you have missed it its near the back of the todays burnley express and will be in the next telegraph !!

This is the first time burnley have won since 1972!! Its the first time blackpool have not been in the final (we beat them in the semi final)

We have been promised we will now be taken as a very serious team with burnley council investing money into us for new tracksuits andnew kits etc.

Also next season we will be playing games in london, paris, and throughouit the UK.

Ill let you know how we go on in our games!!!
