Drivers Back Lower Alcohol Limit

Two-thirds of those questioned by the AA said they backed a reduction in the current limit of 80mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood.
Women were more keen than men for a change in the rules, with 75% in favour of a lower limit compared with 62% of men.
Only 42% of younger drivers aged 18-24 wanted a lower limit, compared with 50% of those aged 35-54.
What are your thoughts lower levels or random stops.

I'd prefer a lower limit to random stops myself as I rarely drink anything if I know I'm going to be driving. I would like to see something done about persistent drink drivers who don't seem deterred by the thought of losing their licence.

Think it's about time the limit was lowered. What affects you one day, might be totally different another day, and your reactions will be different as well.
Would like to see a total ban on drinking and driving if I'm truely honest, but then I guess that would be unfair on those who might only have half a lager or shandy, then driving an hour or so later.
