just to update you i have now returned the medals to Mr Derek Nutter, who was quite emotinal (bless) He as asked if he can contact the Burnley Express and i told him it wasnt a problem, it seems when young fredrick died his mother Bessie never mentioned him again, probably the reason the medals were just left in in a drawer, Derek would be his great great nephew, or something like that, and never knew the medals had been awarded to Fredrick. I will keep you posted when the story appears.
