1st Good Crowd At The Dugdale Arms

Well this weekend sure did surprise me!

Friday night i started Disco & Karaoke, it turned out to be mainly disco as there was only 2 singers, but last night (saturday) well that was a different story!

I started at 8pm, pretty much nothing going on, but it started picking up at about 9pm, by about 10pm the amount of singers i had was OMG!

i was shocked that due to lack of advertising & being so near christmas that it would be that busy!

Im hoping it will be like that every weekend, but theres no way of knowing that yet - Only time will tell

Did you see that short documentary about Karaoke singers in Burnley? It focused on a young mum and two middle-aged blokes who were keen singers. It was good seeing Burnley folk in a good light on telly for a change and was funny and quite moving.

I've never had a go myself, I nearly did once but couldn't find anything that was in my repertoire! Probably better for all concerned.

Karaoke can be quite fun, especially once you've had a few drinks lol

I did it the other week.... karaoke that is lol. Stuck in the middle with you..... was hardly recognisable though!

The idea of a Burnley Web meet appeals to me as well, always nice meet and socilalise with set-ups like these.
Whilst I'm a little while away the 589 Rochdale to Burnley or X43 M'chester to Burnley would get me up there easy ether way.
So yeah why not.

P.S. Just out of curiosity where is the Dugdale Arms?
