Fixed penalty for being drunk and disorderly? why not prosecuted them for the misuse of fire fighting equipment before the magistrates court.

If it was discovered that the building didn't have any or the correct amounts in the first place then the proprietor would face prosecution along with a substantial fine if not more in some cases.

However as these idiots set them off why not prosecute them and have them pay for the recharging of the extinguishers on top of that.

If there was a fire then it could cost people there lives never mind a £80 fixed penalty notice.

Crazy in my opinion.

Must say I have to agree James, there is far to much of these kind of things these days, with people just getting a slap on the wrists. Its about time that these people were made to see the error of their ways, but it never happens, the only time things are looked at in the right prospective is when some one loses their lives, but then its to late
