I remember the old snooker tables they must have been there ages, i think they were victorian ( slate ones) highly collectable now! I liked the youth club in the si xties and loved St Stephens jumble sales back then!

I remember the first day I went to St Stephen's primary school at 4 years old, we used to get a third of a pint bottle of milk for the mid morning break, it was OK in winter when it was ice cold but in summer it was warm and disgusting (no fridges in them days) I used to play the triangle in the band and was a milk monitor as well

Mrs Smith was nice! I renmember the school yard that was slippery when icy!

I remember when we had sports day in the school yard, I won the Throwing a Cricket Ball, I threw it right over the school roof, we used to dress up in Sunday best to walk the parish boundary's every year with banners flying and a band leading
