| This year's annual service of remembrance will be held at the War Memorial in Croft Street, Burnley on Sunday 11th November 2007. The service will start at 10.50 am and will be conducted by Canon Tom Bill, Rector of St Peter's, Burnley and chaplain to the Burnley brance of the Royal British Legion. The Reverend Keith Richardson of Ightenhill Methodist Church, Burnley will assist. His worshipful the Mayor of Burnley, Councillor Peter McCann will join representatives from Burnley Council, Lancashire Police, ex-servicemen's associations, the Armed Forces, the Royal British Legion, public organisations and other uniformed groups. They will gather with members of the public to remember those who fell, serving their country. Burnley Borough Council - Remembrance Day Service 11th November 2007
