I'm dubious about how much regeneration it will provide for anyway, looking at other gambling centres around the world probably not much unless you include more crime, prostitution, drugs, violence, debt and such

disagree.....if blackpool had got this then it would have given so much positive input into the town and as long as the authourities had insisted on it being kept within local people and payed adequate wages I dont see any reason for drugs , crime , prostituion to become any worse than what it already is... but then isnt that up tothe local authourities to deal with that in an adiquate way ..surely we pay our taxes to remove this sort of thing from our envioromentin any circumstances ..not just because we may have a super casino
