lol, look's like this forum is not the best place to ask about Burnley's "Buzzin'" Nightlife Wayneyboy! I used to go out in town a lot, but sticking to "off circuit" places as I like to be able to hear what is going on and get a decent pint for my money. There used to be quite a lot of places to see local (non tribute) bands: Keighley green, Kestrel Suite, Bank hall miner's, Yorke house - before it was "Posh", Annabella's and Mechanic's. I prefer to go out in Manchester when I get the chance, more diverse choice of pubs and clubs - and I feel safer 'cos you are less likely to have someone take offence to your choice in clothing/opinions/taste in music/whatever excuse they need to give you a kicking. I've had this happen too many times in Burnley while minding my own business - getting jumped by a group of lads, so I'd rather leave them to it and spend my money elsewhere. I'm sure Prince Harry could find a punch-up in Burnley centre no problem! I hope this post doesn't put you off having a look yourself, not like I got attacked every weekend! Just doesn't put you in the best frame of mind for a night out of fun.

helloooooooo, get yourselves down the Circulation, this Thursday is 2br karaoke final heat, get there at 7.30 to register to sing. This Friday theres a Blues Brother tribute band, Saturday theres a charity night for Pendleside Hospice, battle of the DJ's soul and Motown all night, on Sunday there is another charity event this one is for cancer research, and it starts at twelve, with live bands and six Dj,s. There is absolutley no trouble down there now, strictly over twenty fives and they've cleaned the carpets!!:yelrotflm

Karaoke did you say KARAOKE :) :) :) Can't beat a bit of that. Sounds like the old town as a bit of life past Bingo. :) The old cerc did have a bad rep. Is it at the same place near the Cattle market,up some steps or was that another place?
