| If people still have them, get the little flags on the cars! Being told off for having pride in YOUR country is not racist! Being told not to is!!! :) I have no problem with people who fly flags etc of other countries! So why can't we? :( |

RE: St george's day, I'm self employed so does that mean I can charge double if it's made a public holiday? ;) The thing about the flags/roses is outrageous!! On what grounds were they committing an offence? It's daft rules like this that cause tensions and resentment between different cultures. Makes me want to go and put up a George cross right now ![]() Petition signed.

| On a similar subject - It made me angry seeing protesters burning the union jack to show their disgust at the 'invasion' of Iraq. These people would probably be the first to complain if the national health service ended, they had to find a JOB because there was no longer a benefits system etc... In a lot of countries they would be too scared to protest in case they were taken away by a snatch squad in the middle of the night and tortured into confessing to conspiracy. By all means protest, but leave the flag burning to the fanatics in other countries, or go and join them. *rant over* :o

| On a lighter note we the English are not the only ones that like St'George! I went to the Nou Camp in Barcelona and the club badge has a cross of St'George in it,I asked what was it there for and I was told that he is the paitron saint of Catalonia! So he gets about!!! :) |
