My 2 girls are forever coming home with Nits, at least once a week my wife has to treat their hair then go through it with a Nit comb.
When she complained to the school she was told, Because of The human rights act teachers are not allowed to say anything to the parents who can't be bothered to treat their childrens hair, and A Nit nurse would also be infringing the childrens rights.
Thanks to this stupid act, my childrens human right to not have bugs crawling around on their heads is infringed,
I went through school with the Nit nurse and never once went home screaming to mummy, Mind you I never had Nits.
Does anybody agree with this nonsense? or would you like to see a return to good old common sense?

The kids with the nits should not be allowed in to school,until have got rid of them.If this was done i am sure the problem would soon be solved

Oh for goodness sake, this infringement on human rights has taken over good old fashioned common sense. If the parents of the darling little children with nits, cant be bothered to do something about it, then they should be told outright, your child has nits. Get rid of them, (the nits, not the child!)
Bring back Nitty Nora, the bug explorer, and common sense.

OOH THE SHAME OF GOING HOME WITH A LETTER FOR YOUR MUM..i remember having them a couple of times,,oh my god the stuff you had to put on stunk....

i once got nits from school and my dad took me to the barbers and he shaved my head so i was a skinhead, and wasnt allowed into school with a fuly shaved head as it was against school rules, but i was ok to go in full of nits.

Aye! the stuff stunk alright, it also used to burn the skin on me scalp, the stuff that was used on me, plus you had to be a bit careful as the stuff was Highly Inflammable too.
