Default What Happens To The Land

Reading the last letter about school closures in Burnley got me thinking. What will happen to all the land that will be left vacant when the schools dissapear?Who will profit from the sale of said land which if i am right in saying should really be classed as green belt? Then on the other hand as anybody talked to the residents of the area where the SUPER school is proposed to be built? who is going to monitor the traffic ? which going off the last 15 years on Padiham road as increased by 20 fold at school times .Now they are going to ammalgamate all these schools together and plonk them in the centre of the town, are they going to stagger school finishing times?what has happened to the peoples voice ?We talk to MPs they get together in a fancy restaurant in london on our taxes and agree to disagree, it doesnt matter what we say or do by the time we hear about any new propposed ideas they have already been set in stone and no argument in the land will change that.thats life and we have to live with it thats what they say .am i right or wrong you tell me thanks for reading seeya later wayne

The land that's left will be worth alot of money,I used to work in a home that got closed down and got built on,if they can plonk houses on a school site they will make a killing, but who gets the cash? the county council(god bless!) or Burnley town hall?
as in most things we will be the last to know! still if you look on the bright side like me, builders will be getting work!
