NEW SCHOOLS FOR BURNLEY ??? WASTE OF MONEY OR NOT ??

i live close to the bus stop at whitegate, and the problems there now are bad.unruley kids,parking,congestion,with all the cars on the school run.the police are called out at least once a week to sort things out. so god help us when they make gawthorpe a super school. i have rang the council serveral times to complain and they are just not interested:(

well i went today, and the proposals are going ahead. o well. the teachers seem to think it was rigged, as there were no questions from the committee whatsoever, and i was told that it was incredibly strange. ne1 else go?

my son attends Teds,he finished school at 12.30 on Thursday so to allow time for the teachers to get to Preston for the meeting.Such a highly regarded school and 6th form they have there,why they want to shut the sixth form is beyond anything logical.

its just going to mess with my eduacation, as it will be shut at the start of yr 13
