Has anybody else been?

I've been a few times and I love it! It's up near the wondmills and is a great place to go for a walk and take the kids. I find the history of it very interesting.

I've been around that area quite a lot, I'm interested in the history of the packhorse trails,reservoirs, ruins and the like. I also like the fact that it's usually very quiet and you can sometimes walk for miles without seeing another soul for ages.

I love the fact it is so still, I just find it a pleasant place to be.

That sounds lovely Angel, never heard of it before .. amazing what great places there are in close proximity to where you live. Will take a look in the Summer. Not keen on the isolation though Col. will have to find a male escort....
