Does anyone know of any good pub quizes in Burnley?

Is this a genuine request or are we going to find that the Dugdale Arms by some strange coincidence are starting a quiz night next week

I believe The Ministry of Ale has a quiz, I think it's on Tuesday nights...but I'd have to check. Excellent beer and always seem to have some kind of art exhibition on too - but it's not poncy in the slightest!

Crown at Bacup, but theres no prizes and no teams one chap reads out the questions and evrery one in the pub has to agree on an answer, then every body shouts and argues, sometimes they go on while 4 in the morning. Great fun and real ale and coal fires been going nearly 10 years.

We have found this sometimes that folk fall out and some answers can be difficult .Just by the fact the person who asks them has to do it properly and get the right researching .

Just an update, the Ministry of Ale quiz is on a Thursday night, beer prize for quiz and a cash prize if you can answer a question if your draw ticket is pulled out of the cardboard box - beer token if you get it wrong.
