10 Years Last Night Out in Burnley

Its been ten years since I was in Burnley but shorely there has to be some nightlife. Is Panama Joes still there? York House? Smacks and erm Yates - perhaps I am showing my age now!!!!! lol!!!!!!

Panama Joes has gone and I think it's called the Orange House now, no where near as good as it was. York House is now called Posh, but again no where near what it was like back in the day ;-)

I used to go and see local bands in York House on a Thursday night I think it was. Used to love it, mind you there were lots of places that put local bands on in those days.

Oh god! the hitman and her...wasn't really my thing, there was also frequent visits to Angels on that BPM programme. Still got a tape of one of those somewhere. There's a funny clip of one of the presenters doing a link with some pilled up lass next to her with eyes like saucers gurning away. I'll have to dig it out and put it up on youtube.

Ooooh I remember the hit man and her at the Ritzys! Burnley has changed an awful lot since I first started going out, my first night out in Burnley I ended up at the New Hop!

Hey GC me mate once show me a video that he'd taped on TV once it was of course hit man and her.

It showed his brother in it, it was weird it was.

No idea when the Ritz's shut down though and just weather it became a bingo hall straight away or not, however me mate's now 38 and his brother's 48 now.
Who presented it? one was I think Macheala strachen (I've Spelt her name wrong), who was the other presenter? and if I remember it was on itv at any time from midnight on wards.
