I've been searching the site for everybody's views on the treatment of our local firemen and have found nothing.....have i just been looking in the wrong place or hasn't anybody broached the subject of what happened last week/weekend??
Some of our hard working men in uniform where attacked by mindless youths intent on causing harm...is it just me or do children not understand what consequences their actions cause?? or are we as humans become pure evil??
pray for some sanity in this world please :please:

I agree with you but sadly there seem to be very few consequences these days. It is beyond my comprehension that anybody can find it funny to attack the very people who are trying to assist them in bad times but sadly the numbskulls are out there as this incident shows!!!!

And the fact that the fires where deliberately set to pure the firemen to a certain place with that intent!! it just needs nipping in the bud i feel
isnt it time to bring back some kind of punishment??

Definetly but in this day and age everyone seems frightened of saying or doing anything for fear of being politically incorrect. It is time to stop pussyfooting around and do something positive IMHO

No idea as not a fire person but they are valuable part of the emergency services & are willing to give youngsters advice on all matters of fire safety as well as warn them of the dangers of hoaxes - maybe get some of these youngsters to join them on a typical day of a fire person just to see the hard work they do & consequences of having their time wasted by their age, tho with some the reality wont hit home till one hoaxer/abuser of the services does so & results in their house being delayed in rescue:yell:

It would just serve an hoaxer right if their house was on fire, and the engines were on some stupid hoax call...but that probably wouldent happen ,,it would be some poor inocent person...

I'm always left bemused by this type of behaviour, the firemen should be allowed to turn the hose on the stone throwers. I think it just shows how mind-numbingly THICK some people are. Grrr!

i think that the majority should rule!!
apparently theyr now saying that it wasnt a racist attack...and that it was just kids being yobs.....i hate the whole if your white and get attacked it was just an attack but if your a different colour and you get attacked then its racist!!!! :pedro:
