Default Crown Point

I was thinking of having a look at the singing / ringing sculpture thing at Crown Point tomorrow. Is it worth a look? Is there a set walk around it?
Cheers for any info x

It's worth a look if the weather is behaving itself. Theres a path to it from the car park at the summit. Even if it's blowing a gale doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be singing though!

Not so much a walk round it, more like a path to it and same path back again. I have yet to hear it sing.

Now that's an interesting point. Aren't all things supposed to be accessible to all people these days?

You're quite a way off at Loveclough there Shaz. If you head towards Burnley from Loveclough, past Dunnockshaw Reservoir and down the hill. Opposite the Bull & Butcher pub turn Right (I think it's Crown Point Road), and follow that for a mile or two. The car park is on your right at the second (main) summit, there's a big sign.

Had a walk round the ringing singing tree today and it was singing like mad!! I really liked it - striking to look at and quite a haunting sound when it gets going.

Oooh lucky you. The wind must have been just right. Maybe one day I'll hear it sing too.
