| I noticed last time we were up in the Morecambe/Lancaster area there seemed to be a lot more Polish people and it surprised me to see notices on Morecambe market written in Polish. I do feel that a sudden influx of immigrants, wherever they are from, puts pressure on the local community and if there are already problems such as unemployment then local residents could begin to resent the newcomers and this lead to problems.

| There has been a dramatic increase in the number of Polish people in Blackburn with Darwen from what I can see! I don't think letting imigrants (wherever they are from) into a country that already has lots of unemployed and homeless people is a very beight thing to do! I've seen instances where it has caused arguments between neighbours and even with the imigrants themselves. IMO we should be more like Australia where you have to prove you are of some benefit to the country before you can enter! |

| The joys of being a member of the Federalized States of the European Union. We have a mixed bunch up here and at the last count at work we had 22 different nationalities. |
