yep he been proved to be a fraud and i watch his shows in dismay cause some people actually do believe him its so wrong

If you don't like the show, why watch it? It has more entertainment value than some of the other crap on TV, e.g Big Brother!!!!! I expect most, if not all, of you are captivated by that garbage.
Three years late, I know, but I just saw the Pendle Hill show on DVD and enjoyed watching, as ever! What do you people have against Most Haunted? And what did Yvette do to deserve such derision? She's OK. I agree that Derek was OTT and David Wells is much better, but the show is still evolving and getting better all the time. Some valuable and interesting evidence has come from some of these shows. Especially the later ones. Come on, people, give them a break! Catching paranormal activity on camera is not easy. If it was, there would be mountains of film, no mystery and no reason for shows like Most Haunted to exist. Surely the scarcity of definitive visual footage only supports the show's integrity? OK, so take the "antix" of Mr Acorah with a pinch of salt. Sort the wheat from the chaff, and even without his dubious contributions, the show still has a lot to offer.

if you have watched they slagging off of derek by yvette and the team on a certain piece of footage saying to each other how its all made up what derek does and how its all fraud maybe then you would change your mind about the show and team.
also i know one of the guys who worked on the show and he said it was all a sham

I have no doubt that on a show like this a certain degree of theatrics will be employed to make it more "interesting". Especially on very quiet, uneventful shoots. But in many instances things happen which do defy explanation. Granted, they are few and far between, but they happen, no less.

As you say, a few things have defied explaination, so what? Things happen around me every day that I cannot explain.

Ghosts, by their very nature, are notoriously hard to pin down, and even harder to produce hard evidence of.

i have watched far better shows that actually do have things happen on it most haunted is just a farce.
i watch it just for the laugh of predicting what happens every week on it lol

You may not like the programme and presenters, but you've all heard of it, especially since it's on LIVING TV for Gawds sake!!!!!!
I like watching it because it's entertaining - don't particularly believe a word of it myself, but it's cheap and cheerful, you learn a bit of history and see some very impressive and spooky buildings.
I like it, and they are currently covering PIRATES ahhhhaagghh in BRISTOL at the mo - Stu hasn't been beat up yet, but it's only a matter of time me reckons
