Next General Election
Been hearing that the next General Election in Burnley will see Cllr Gordon Birtwistle stand for the Lib-Dems after pipping Cllr Darren Reynolds for the place. Surprising really as I've never really thought of the local party run by Birtwistle being too representative of national Lib-Dem policy, apparently their local leaflets have been calling for tougher sentences! It should ensure that Kitty is sent back to where she came with her tail between her legs and we'll have someone else and a different party for MP.
