10 Pump Mill fire with 2 aerial ladder platforms 13th April 2007, 7:30pm Incident number: 2253 Number of appliances: 6ps and ALP Address: Kent St, Blackburn Equipment being used: 6 jets, 2 aerial ladder platforms, 2 breathing apparatus

13th April 2007, 7:30pm Incident number: 2253 Number of appliances: 18 Appliances Address: Kent St, Blackburn 6 jets 3 aerial ladder platforms 2 breathing apparatus This incident involved 10 pumping appliances 3 aerial ladder platforms and 5 other special appliances

I used to drive for a timber yard that was next to Kent Street on Walpole Street..(Lower Audley)......there are quite a few units down there!.....Curious now to which one it could be!!

According to the Lancashire Telegraph it was Newmans who have an outlet there. The reason the speclist unit was there was because of the nature of what was burnign such as the rubber.

was told today that one of my old pubs (the star and garter ) in blackburn had been flamed but cant seem to find anything on it so it must have been some time back..
