Police in Leyland have released CCTV images of two women they want to speak to in relation to stolen credit cards.
On the 9th March this year an 82 year old female reported having had her purse stolen from her handbag from Help The Aged on Hough Lane in Leyland. She had several cards in her purse along with her pin numbers and the offenders who stole the purse are believed to have used her cards to the value of approximately £3300.00.
PC Vicki Reeve who is investigating the matter commented,” The aggrieved is an elderly lady and this incident has really upset her. We know that her cards have been used in the Leyland. Chorley and Manchester areas and the attached CCTV shows the offenders using the cards at a sports shop in Chorley, I am hoping that someone will recognise them and contact us.”
Anyone with any information should contact PC Vicki Reeve via Southern Communications Centre on 0845 1 25 35 45 or via Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Police would like to remind Members of the Public that they should never carry PIN numbers with their credit cards. Try and choose an easy to remember number that is personal to you and memorise it.
