Council don't want to Know

I've noticed a few Burnley organisations working in partnership with or for Burnley Borough Council registering on the Rossendale discussion forum.

Does Burnley and Pendle Online not appeal to the Council as people are allowed freedom of expression? Is it because we have a forum for people to talk about having illegal tickets cancelled? Are we just perceived anti-council?

Or is it because the Rossendale website is run as a business, therefore bringing them more money? I thought the Council were supposed to help any person or organisation that aims to improve the quality of a persons life in any shape or form?

I notice Accy Web does not "officially" appeal to Hyndburn BC either, but again that site allows freedom of expression and is run by an individual with their own money.

I've tried many times to have this site linked, which they say they will do but it never get's done. This is with any organisation run or working in partnership with Burnley Borough Council. We used to have a link on there, and we even have one on http://www.neighbourhood.gov.uk/page.asp?id=24
