| Brainstormer - What would use for more economical power then bud? We should sack this whole lark off and go back to the stone age. Nowt wrong with that eh. At least our moans would be genuine. A bit of famine, disease and pestilence. Maybe some war and death too! Hey we've got the 4 Horsemen! ;-) I think another one should be ignorance. Maybe they'd open a vacancy for him (or her). ;-) Slightley off topic... How about employing people to provide power by attaching cycles to alternators? Get the unemployed doing it. ;-) Keep fit, power homes, employ folk and win the olympics (again). |

| There's a windfarm out in Morecambe Bay too. Not very noticeable most of the time but we've just come back from a holiday in Heysham and could see them from there. They look quite serene. I wonder if the Dutch made all this fuss about windmills when they first started to build them?

| When you think of the environment, how long before you can off set their carbon footprint against their manufacture, installation etc, along with their running before they are considered effective? quite a bit off I would say. not nearly as effective as other means available, and those means not been as environmentally friendly as perhaps a wind turbine in some people's eyes. |
