Syringes found Gannow Lane area Well it's in the paper about syringes being found around the Adamson Street, Gannow Lane area resulting in two young lads being scratched and having to wait 8 weeks to see if they are infected plus continuous injections over that time to ensure they will be okay.
This is another reason why we moved from this area, drug dealing, anti-social behaviour, crime, etc.. As mentioned in a previous post, we reported with others everything that happened to the Police and the Anti-Social Behaviour team at Burnley Borough Council. What was done? Wardens were asked to patrol for a few days, and a letter of concern from the countil and Police was sent to the main culprits. What happened? Nothing. We knew it would end up a war zone and looks like we did the right thing by moving. Why on earth have they let this area go down hill like this?
We lived in the area for several years, it was great at first. Nice and peaceful. People would sit out in the summer watching each others children keeping each other safe. Doesn't happen anymore. The Police and Council need to work harder and get tougher to stop these issues.
This town is becoming pathetic, nothing is being done about anything. All you hear and see in the paper is bad news these days. Burnley is going down hill and if the Police and Council don't do anything about it, people are going to take action themselves.
Fiona found a syringe around 1 year ago at the back of our house and reported it, why was the problem not dealt with then?
