| :scared: Hello everyone, I am new here but would like to ask if any of you members have any ghost stories to tell for inclusion in a new book commissioned by Carnegie Publishers of Lancaster...? The book will be an accompanyment to a new series to be featured on BBC Lancashire Radio this autumn, entitled 'Lancashire: The Ghost Zone'. :scared: This mini-series will be aired on Carole Turner's Late Show and features Jason Karl, TV presenter and author of several books on the paranormal. Myself and Jason will be touring Lancashire looking for likely alledged haunted locations, but we are particularly interested in any stories relating to Pendle and surrounding area [of course, the Pendle witches!] - Townley Hall and Clitheroe Castle, to name but a few. Please contact me and I can forward on our press release should anyone require further info into this new joint project. Any stories [true please, not made up!] of ghostly encounters will be most welcome and we look forward to including lots of paranormal tales from this very 'spooky' area of Lancashire thanks for your time.. | Hello Adele! This site may be of help to you in your search:thumbsup: http://www.paranormaldatabase.com/lancashire/lancs.htm The Bee Hole Boggart as to be my fav Burnley ghost story Adele! I'd never heard of it until I saw this entry! Bee Hole Boggart Location: Burnley - Area around Burnley Football Club Type: Fairy Date / Time: Unknown Further Comments: Years before the area was developed, the entity patrolled the area looking for people - it once kidnapped and murdered an old woman, leaving her skin to be discovered on a rose bush. as a Clarets fan I find this very interesting but also scary! |

| Step over to www.hyndburn.co.uk and ask Tealeaf2 'bout his encounter with the Headless Horseman on the tow-path at Clayton-le-Moors. Don't believe a word of it meself, but makes good reading. |
