Know what you mean, it lasts such a short time and at least you are with him all the time to enjoy his wonderment.

At least our kids have not been hoodwinked like those that recently went to lapland to see ol Chris & only got 20 seconds with him while sat next to the washing up....

Dellyt that is so sad and so many disappointed children too. I hope Tesco had the good grace to give them some sweets to make up for the disappointment.

Two points please chaps
1, Can we stop calling him Santa, and call him Father Christmas instead. Santa is far too American
2, The Turf usually does Christmas well for youngsters or so I am led to believe. Esp if you are in The Foundation

Just a thought

Ho Ho Ho

We aren't all 'chaps' by the way and our family has always said Santa Claus and see no reason to change it to Father Christmas which originated in Germany.
Unlike you I don't really care what children call him, it is the idea of the original St Nicholas that has survived to bring pleasure to children all over the world.

And Nessie..... :stop:
if your gonna get stroppy and TRADITIONAL on me, is your SANTA all dressed in green, or coca-cola red? And how many hand-made wooden carved gifts are you sending this year
As for CHAPS - of course some of you are girlies OBVIOUSLY - i meant it in a friendly collective bunch of people sort of way - would you prefer me to say Chaps and Chapesses? Boys and Girls? Refer to you by your collective names?
think you should get back in bed and get out the right side Miss Grumpy!!!!!
Father "Santa" Christmas might not drop down your chimley if you don't lighten up
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrr
