Tipping

To tip or not to tip is the question. Who do you tip at Christmas?

im waiting for the citizen paperboy or girl to come n try their luck lol....im the only one on my ave that hasnt had a citizen newspaper since summer but i bet they still want a tip!!

I know a very rude joke about tipping the binmen but I do'nt think this is the best place to tell it.

i always tip the window cleaner ,and a lady that delivers eggs to the door ,i always used to tip the bin men but this year they have been very fussy what they would take ,and now only leave 2 grotty thin bin bags which wont hold much weight ,i might think twice this year !

Like Delly, I haven't had a Citizen all year, but this week one was pushed through the door, wonder why? :D
I used to tip the bin men when they carried the bin from round the back, emtied it and put it back again. Now all they do is empty it, I have to do the rest I usually tip the milk lad and the regular paper boy, but think that is all I will be tipping this year. I'll put what I used to give the binmen into the Rotary collecting box.

got two citizens last week, and two reporters no citizen this week. I tip everybody am to soft, even if i have had a kamikazee taxi driver i tip them, must get therapy!

I nearly always tip. If I get good service mind. Both my brothers did bar work at one time and they lived off the tips cos the wage was crap. They used to get taxed on them as well.
Strange place Burnley to tip mind,they must have had alot of trouble in some bars,cos if you offer one they take it very badly.
