Some nice precipitation falling on the west coast of Ireland and a tiny band giving sleet in merseyside at the moment. Nothing that will give us the snow that fell onto the hills in the area. Looked quite beautiful this morning.

Well Michael Fish it may look beautiful but it was icey underfoot first thing when i was dog walking. The snow is still laid on the roof and grass here maybe because it is high up.

Hope it stays clear tonight, supposed to be lots of meteors about - just need to think of somewhere without streetlights to view them.

Picture 20 is hills to South East of Burnley (Easterlyish of Hameldon Hill)
Picture 23 is Pendle this afternoon
Picture 21 is Hameldon Hill this afternoon although the sun takes away the brightness so the snow may be difficult to see.
