 Re: Old Brierfield Limefield House, Brierfield, is still standing and is now split into 3 dwellings. The house predates the village of Brierfield, which at one stage of it's development was known as Limefield. May I ask your interest in Limefield House.             |

| Re: Old Brierfield Yep That's the one. I am led to believe the original 2/3 were built by a Scottish family 1830ish. A track led down from Halifax Rd, where council yard is, past Limefield House down to where Mansfield farm once stood ( now Mansfield School stands there) |
